The Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin established the Waushara County COVID-19 Relief Fund to provide flexible resources to organizations in Waushara County that are working to address critical needs due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The organization listed below was awarded funding from the Waushara County COVID-19 Relief Fund.
Waushara County COVID-19 Relief Fund Awarded more than $60,500 to the following organizations:
CAP Services
To provide direct assistance to residents in Waushara County struggling to meet basic needs including food insecurity, rent and utility assistance and medical access as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Waushara County Food Pantry
To address hunger needs for the residents of Waushara County and to help cover the cost of gas for their refrigerated truck for their mobile food pantries.
Organizations interested in reviewing application criteria and/or applying for assistance should go online to cfcwi.org. Funding decisions will be made based on the highest areas of need determined through ongoing communications with non-profit agencies and social sector serving agencies. Award decisions will be made every other Friday starting April 10.
Individuals in need of assistance should call the United Way 2-1-1 help line for information on programming and direct assistance with critical needs as a result of fallout due to the coronavirus. Hmong and Spanish translators are available. 2-1-1 is a free and confidential 24/7 help line.
Community members are encouraged to support the needs of Waushara County by making a gift to this fund. The Community Foundation made an initial gift of $10,000 to start the fund.
