Building Affordable Housing Together
This fall, Women’s Fund 100 Strong will spotlight the growing need for affordable housing inventory in Portage County and the community partnerships working to create lasting solutions.
Attendees will hear from the Central Wisconsin Community Land Trust, an organization dedicated to expanding affordable homeownership opportunities throughout Central Wisconsin. Through education, discussion, and shared learning, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the local housing landscape, the challenges facing working families, and innovative approaches to creating permanently affordable homes.
At the conclusion of the program, Women’s Fund 100 Strong members will celebrate the presentation of a grant to the Central Wisconsin Community Land Trust, funded by the Women’s Fund 100 Strong Donors with a match from the Women’s Fund Endowment Fund.
The anticipated primary use of the funding is to support acquiring their first property, an important milestone that will strengthen its capacity to expand affordable housing opportunities throughout Portage County.
