SPAEA-Jon Vollendorf Girls Basketball Scholarship Fund
To provide scholarships to SPASH Girls Basketball player(s) for outstanding talent, leadership and character.
To provide scholarships to SPASH Girls Basketball player(s) for outstanding talent, leadership and character.
To recognize SPASH seniors who excel in the areas of vocal music, instrumental music, theater & drama, visual arts and creative writing.
To provide a minimum of one $500 scholarship annually to a graduating senior from the boy’s or girl’s varsity basketball program at SPASH planning to attend an institution of higher education.
To provide awards for outstanding achievements in music and programs that promote excellence in music may be considered for awards.
To provide awards for outstanding student achievement in the area of Technical Education/Building Construction.
To provide scholarships to worthy Family and Consumer Science students.
To provide a scholarship for graduating seniors planning to attend a technical college.
To recognize outstanding achievement in Science by SPASH students.
To provide a scholarship annually to a SPASH senior in either Music or Science, preferably in alternating years.
To support the community served by the Stevens Point Area Public School District by promoting educational community programs, serving community needs within the district, and providing scholarships for qualified students.
This fund will support the charitable wishes of the SPASH Alumni.
This scholarship fund will award a $500 scholarship annually to a SPASH graduating senior who participated on the SPASH Girls Soccer Team.
Annual distributions from the fund will be directed toward Portage County projects the that most closely meet the mission of the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin.
To meet the charitable wishes of the Stanley G. & Marlies I. Acker Family.
To broaden the educational opportunities for students in the Wautoma Area School District who have good integrity, are responsible, and are loyal to their parents and county.
To award an annual scholarship to a graduating senior or a recent graduate (within 2 years) from a Waushara County High School that is studying criminal justice, fire services or library sciences. Preference will be given to students graduating from Wild Rose High School.
An independent endowment fund dedicated to sustaining and extending the excellence of Stevens Point Area Public Schools by raising private voluntary contributions and disbursing grants from the fund throughout the district. The Fund’s focus is on providing dollars for special initiatives that could not be funded, or funded at a meaningful scale, through the regular school budget.
To offer Scholarships to Portage County residents attending a two-year or four-year technical college or university in the field of education.
To support the needs and operations of the Stevens Point City Band.
This fund will provide scholarships to Portage County students going into a Skilled Trades Program.
Distributions from the fund will be used to promote the Arts by encouraging Art awareness, supporting working Artists and contributing to local Art Education.
To support various organizations and/or projects which improve and enrich the lives of women and children in Portage County. The following areas are the focus of the fund:
To provide scholarships to students attending a Portage County High School or will be attending a Portage County post-secondary educational institute, with preference to students active in either Rotaract or Interact Clubs.
To develop and preserve the Stevens Point Sculpture Park for future generations.
The mission of the coalition is to prevent suicide in Portage County by providing hope, creating awareness and facilitating change in the community to support mental health.
