We were excited to launch the first session of Voices of Impact, previously known as Community Lunch Hour, with CAP Services as our featured guest. With almost 60 years of service in Portage and Waushara Counties, CAP Services has a long-standing mission to transform lives and strengthen families.
During the session, CAP leaders Nicole and Erin shared CAP’s history, their personal paths to nonprofit leadership, and an overview of the organization’s services across the region. The central focus of the conversation was CAP Services’ 2025 Community Needs Assessment, which highlighted key priority issues, emerging data trends, and disparities by county and demographic factors.
Participants engaged in meaningful dialogue about how CAP is using data to inform programs and services, the role of diverse funding, including CAP’s organizational endowment with the Community Foundation, and the importance of philanthropic partnerships in creating measurable community impact. Audience participation enriched the conversation, surfacing both challenges and successes within our community and identifying ways individuals and organizations can support continued progress.
The inaugural new hybrid format of the Voices of Impact session set the tone for thoughtful, collaborative conversations focused on data, leadership, and collective action to strengthen our region. In case you weren’t able to attend, we will have the video available soon.
We hope to see you at our next Voices of Impact with Camp HOPE as the featured guest on February 9 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. Please RSVP at the link below.
