Voices of Impact: Relaunching the Community Lunch Hour Series

Dec 12, 2025 | General, News & Events

The Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin is excited to reintroduce its long-running Community Lunch Hour series under a new name and with a renewed purpose: Voices of Impact.

Starting January 12, 2026, Voices of Impact will offer a dynamic monthly platform to share stories and spark conversations around the local funds, scholarships, and organizations that are creating meaningful change right here in Portage and Waushara counties. We are now also offering a hybrid viewing option where you can view on zoom or attend in-person for a live-viewing option.

A New Name, A Deeper Focus

With the name transition from Community Lunch Hour to Voices of Impact, we will feature powerful stories from local changemakers and organizations supported by donor-driven funds and scholarships that are administered through the Community Foundation.

This isn’t just a name change; it’s a shift in purpose. Voices of Impact is about elevating the people, programs, and funding vehicles that are actively shaping the future of our region.

What to Expect Each Month

Every month, we’ll focus on a new topic that opens up meaningful conversations around philanthropy, community needs, and the role of financial support in driving social change. Through guest speakers and featured partners, attendees will hear firsthand how various funds and scholarships are creating lasting impact.

Whether you’re a long-time donor, a nonprofit leader, a student, or someone curious about how to get involved, each Voices of Impact session is an invitation to connect with the stories behind the statistics and to explore how your involvement can help move our community forward.

January 12, 2026 : Kicking Off with CAP Services

We’re thrilled to launch the first session of Voices of Impact with CAP Services as our featured guest. For more than 50 years, CAP Services has worked to transform lives and strengthen families in Portage and Waushara Counties. In this session, they’ll share insights from their recent Needs Assessment Report and explore how their work is supported by diverse funding, including their endowment fund with the Community Foundation.

This is a chance to learn about real challenges and successes in our community, and how philanthropic partnerships are making a measurable difference.
