Environment Mission Fund

Apr 20, 2022 | Celebrating Philanthropy

With Earth Day being this Friday, we thought it would be fitting to highlight the Environment Mission Fund this week.

This fund was originally established in 1997 by an anonymous with a purpose to promote and support environmental projects in Portage County and adjacent counties with a strong emphasis on maintaining, protecting, and enhancing the quality of the Plover River, its tributaries and the aesthetic beauty surrounding the watershed region for future generations to enjoy.

Today, the Environment Mission Fund supports a wide variety of programs and projects that work to preserve, protect, and promote environmental programs, parks, recreation, wildlife, domesticated animals, and more.

When you make a gift to the Environment Mission Fund, you can directly support environmental initiatives in our community.
