The Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin seeks a Digital Marketing Intern who will assist with the Foundation’s communications and social media activities to celebrate their 40th Anniversary. This is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in marketing and communications specifically as it relates to philanthropy and the Central Wisconsin community. The position is needed for the months of June, July, and August and will work approximately 10 hours a week. This is a paid internship and selected candidate may be eligible for scholarships.

Description
Works with Communications Professional on Foundation’s social media and communications plan as well as various public relations projects in presenting and disseminating Foundation themes, resources and information in a way that best informs the media and general public about the Foundation’s work in the community.
Surfs social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, etc.) to promote the Community Foundation events and stories.
Assists with special events logistics and preparations, composing electronic invitations, preparing meeting materials and capturing event highlights in photos to use on social media outlets.
Position will be 10 hours a week with a mix of office and remote work.

Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Computer graphics skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Professional demeanor.
Good time management skills.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people, both independently and as part of a team.
Digital Photography and Videography skills are preferred but not required.
